Job Profile 

  • Upkeep of the terminal and stockpiling of new food grain arrivals.

  • Site plans, drawings, and cost assessments of required work.

  • Checking and planning drawings for work/sites.

  • Work on computation sheets and lead graphs.

FCI Assistant Grade III Job Profile

  • Asst. Grade III – (Accounts) – The Assistant Grade III posted in the accounts department is responsible for maintaining the financial account package.

  • Asst. Grade III – (Technical) – Those placed in the technical department work to safeguard the food grains stored in the godowns of FCI. They are also responsible for checking the quality of the grain, as FCI purchases the grain after technical assistance certifies it. The technical assistant also periodically checks the food grains to ensure they are in a healthy condition.

  • Asst. Grade III – General – Those in Grade III are assigned to Vigilance, Legoland, PV, IT, and SL/TL.

  • Asst. Grade III – (Depo) – Asst. Grade II Depo candidates are assigned fieldwork. It is their responsibility to maintain deposits, silos, and terminals so that food grains are kept safe and losses are minimised during storage.
