Trade License

Trade license is a license issued by a Municipal Corporation to carry on a particular trade or business within the geographical jurisdiction under a Local Authority. The Licensing Authority/Committee of the respective states' Corporation grants the Certificate of trade license. Trade License is issued to keep in check that the trade carried on complies with the standards and safety guidelines. Once the entrepreneur submits the necessary forms, inspection is carried out by the local authority and license is granted.
